Estimator & Designer (Stainless Steel Industry)

An employer in Manama, Bahrain is urgently hiring an Estimator and Designer for the stainless steel industry. The role combines estimation, costing, technical design and AutoCAD drafting, with a salary of BD 450 to BD 500.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate project estimates, quotations, BOQs, and cost calculations
• Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings, fabrication drawings, and layouts
• Review client requirements, drawings, specifications, and project scope
• Prepare accurate material take-offs and fabrication material requirements
• Estimate material, labor, fabrication, installation, and other project costs
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, production, and project teams
• Provide technical and commercial support during the tender and project execution stages
• Ensure drawings, estimates, and quotations are accurate and submitted within deadlines

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Proven experience in the stainless steel fabrication industry (the advertisement states this as mandatory/preferred)
• Strong experience in estimation, costing, and technical design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Good knowledge of stainless steel materials, fabrication methods, and workshop processes
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, material take-offs, and project costing
• Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills
• GCC experience will be an added advantage

Salary & Benefits
