Continuous Improvement Intern (Long-Term)

AkzoNobel is offering a Continuous Improvement Intern (Long-Term) role in Gaziemir, Izmir, Turkey. This part-time, on-site internship runs for 6 to 9 months in the Operations team, with at least 2 days per week at the factory. It suits an Industrial Engineering student who wants hands-on experience with production and engineering processes and a real chance to shape process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support AkzoNobel production and engineering processes day to day.
• Work with teams on existing projects and help develop technical solutions.
• Carry out engineering analyses, prepare reports and deliver presentations.
• Take an active role in process improvements by proposing new ideas.

Requirements

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering.
• Available to work at the factory at least 2 days per week.
• Good command of English, written and verbal.
• Team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, open to innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate preferred; familiarity with AI tools preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (Student).
