Park supervisor, grounds maintenance

Struthers Lake Regional Park in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, Canada is hiring a Park supervisor, grounds maintenance at CAD 2,600 to CAD 5,000 per month (to be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise and schedule staff
• Schedule work and maintain work records and logs
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance
• Organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
• Repair and maintain equipment
• Request or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work issues, provide technical advice and recommend ways to improve productivity and product quality

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience is an asset
• Able to supervise 3 to 4 people
• Experience using chainsaws, small engine equipment, tractors and tractor mowers
• Valid driver licence, own transportation and own vehicle
• Basic security clearance, criminal record check and driver licence validity check
• Client focused, able to act on own initiative, with good judgment, flexibility and team work
• Able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding work outdoors in hot conditions for long hours
