Finance and Accounting Senior Specialist

OOCL Gemi Acenteligi Hizmetleri ve Ticaret A.S. is hiring a Finance and Accounting Senior Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Beykoz, Istanbul, Turkey. The senior role covers tax and accounting regulations, e-ledger and e-invoice processes, month-end closing and financial reporting, working with a certified public accountant and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep up with tax and accounting regulations.
• Master e-ledger and e-invoice processes and report to the Head of Finance and Administration.
• Support month-end closing and monthly financial reporting.
• Handle tax declarations with a certified public accountant.
• Cooperate with auditors on the annual audit.
• Follow daily financial activities.
• Carry out periodic customer reconciliations.
• Follow TUIK reports.
• Arrange tasks efficiently and control the finance process.
• Carry out other tasks given by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or a related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience, with SMMM or Certified Public Accountancy certificate, with a CPA licence preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Good spoken and written English at an advanced level.
• Solid tax law, accounting standards and finance knowledge.
• Prior e-ledger, e-invoice and e-archive use.
• MS Office skills.
• Open-minded, self-learning and flexible, able to work in a multinational environment.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
