Assistant Store Leader

7-Eleven in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada is hiring an Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) at CAD 18.00 to CAD 24.25 per hour. This is a full time position, starting as soon as possible, assisting the Store Leader in overseeing daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Leader in overseeing daily store operations
• Provide customer service leadership, training and coaching to store employees
• Support employee development, productivity and retention
• Help identify qualified applicants and develop future store leaders
• Assist with the implementation of merchandising and marketing programs
• Handle cash and fuel transactions accurately

Requirements

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to provide customer service leadership, training and coaching
• Strong employee management and development skills
• Knowledge of cash handling and fuel transactions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge, preferably in Microsoft Word and Excel
• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience
• Valid driver's licence from the province of residence, with automotive liability insurance maintained during employment
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a busy retail environment
• Able to stand, bend and reach repeatedly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Salary & Benefits

Salary is CAD 18.00 to CAD 24.25 per hour.
