Senior Technical Account Manager

Veeam is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager in Ankara, Turkey for a permanent, full time professional services role. The successful candidate will guide customers through delivery, implementation and consulting engagements while keeping projects, solutions and support aligned. This role is based in Ankara, with work from home combined with face-to-face customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work.
• Support delivery implementation and consulting services to meet solution design and deliverables.
• Give overall project guidance including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource plans and status updates.
• Help assess and design solutions and resolve post-installation issues.
• Help estimate implementation effort.
• Create white papers, solution guides, best practices and custom documentation.
• Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam solutions.
• Document configuration and completed activities.
• Analyse installed environments and guide optimal configurations.
• Facilitate communication between client and Veeam support.
• Spot additional client needs that Veeam solutions can resolve.
• Give input for process and documentation improvement.
• Undertake overnight travel to meet company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience.
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam core products.
• Proven consulting and project management experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Significant experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Experience with disruptive storage systems (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam).
• Hands-on networking protocols and equipment (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, cloud services).
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell).
• Hands-on enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with data management, data protection and data analytics.
• Extensive experience with data centre, business continuity and operating systems.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities and protocols.
• Business proficient in Turkish and English.
