Senior Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead research and identification of new sources of supply and target markets
• Manage, develop, and ensure effective execution of procurement and supplier management processes
• Take full responsibility for managing and executing domestic and international procurement processes
• Manage and oversee supplier evaluation processes and ensure timely follow up and completion of related work
• Lead and execute project based initiatives by product group to reduce costs in line with company objectives

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in international procurement processes is preferred
• Good command of English, proficiency in MS Office applications, and SAP experience is preferred
• Strong organizational skills, with excellent communication, prioritization, time management, and project management skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with strong follow up and coordination skills and an analytical, solution oriented, and results driven approach
• For male candidates, completion of military service is required
• Preferably residing on the Asian side of Istanbul or in the Kocaeli area
