Senior Drilling Engineer

Aramco is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer to join the Unconventional Resources Drilling 3 Department. The primary role is to develop drilling programs in line with Saudi Aramco standards and to provide sound technical assistance and advice to operating divisions on complex drilling operations problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide sound drilling engineering methods and procedures for assigned drilling problems.
• Execute assignments and studies across drilling operations, including drilling penetration rate optimization, new drilling technology, and drilling studies.
• Provide technical support for many types of drilling wells, including extended reach (ERD) horizontal oil and gas wells, HPHT gas wells, and unconventional wells.
• Deliver sound technical assistance and advice to operating divisions on complex drilling operating problems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of experience, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as a Senior Drilling Engineer in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
