R&D Engineer

R and D Engineer in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey with Baymak, working from design through to mass production in heating and cooling or a related sector. This full-time, on-site role suits an engineer based on the Istanbul Anatolian side or near Gebze.

The engineer will design and improve products, test and optimise designs, and work closely with production, quality, planning, purchasing and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all research and development work from design to mass production.
• Design new products, improve existing products and prepare product files under project management criteria.
• Complete design, analysis, testing, simulation and optimisation work.
• Drive process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency.
• Coordinate with marketing, production, quality, planning, purchasing and logistics teams.
• Liaise with universities, research and test centres, agencies and suppliers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, with mechanical engineering preferred.
• Preferably three or more years of research and development experience in heating and cooling, automotive or white goods.
• Very good English.
• Good CAD knowledge.
• Team player who is communicative and result oriented.
• Based in, or able to live on, the Istanbul Anatolian side or near Gebze.
