Job Description
As a Payroll Technician, you will prepare payroll statements, manage employee records, and ensure compliance with benefit plans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare statements of earnings for employees
- Maintain filing systems and perform clerical duties
- Balance period-end reports and reconcile payrolls
- Administer benefits documentation and inform employees
- Compile payroll statistics and maintain attendance records
- Prepare T4 statements and other payroll documents.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred
- Proficient in human resources software and MS Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
