Job Description
The Mold Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of molds used in paper and plastic manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and set up molds and tooling equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on molds
- Inspect molds for wear, damage, or defects
- Troubleshoot mold-related issues to minimize downtime
- Clean and maintain molds to uphold product quality
- Assist in mold modifications to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate with teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certification in relevant fields
- 2-5 years of experience in mold maintenance
- Knowledge of injection molding and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
