Mechanical Technician

A confidential employer is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a utility-scale thermal / CCPP plant in Saudi Arabia. This is 1 opening for a technician with hands-on thermal plant maintenance experience. The package includes free food and company-provided housing and transport. Key Responsibilities

• Take apart, repair, overhaul and rebuild pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes, valves and rotating equipment.
• Carry out pump-motor alignment and replace mechanical seals.
• Do preventive maintenance, fault-finding, inspection and repair on pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, gearboxes and piping systems.
• Check equipment, alignment and vibration.
• Fix mechanical faults and help with equipment overhauls.
• Follow HSE rules, PTW / LOTO and equipment isolation steps.

Requirements

• A 3-year DAE or a degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3-10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in conventional thermal power plants (CCPP, CCGT or co-generation).
• Strong knowledge of HSE protocols, OEM standards and automated control systems (DCS / SCADA / SAP CMMS).
• Age 22-40 years.
• Only Sri Lankan nationals are eligible to apply.
