Job Description
A property and technical services environment in Dubai is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to inspect equipment, carry out routine repairs, and help keep building facilities and technical systems running reliably. This is a practical role for a technician comfortable with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of building equipment and facilities
- Attend to basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance issues
- Diagnose faults and identify the cause of equipment or facility problems
- Perform repair, replacement, adjustment, and installation work as required
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to assigned schedules
- Check tools, equipment, fixtures, and technical systems for proper operation
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders
- Record completed maintenance activities and report unresolved issues
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians on larger repairs
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
- Report major faults, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly
- Support emergency maintenance activities when required
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with building maintenance and repair work
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently
- Familiar with preventive maintenance routines and safety procedures
