Job Description
As an Industrial Mechanic at thyssenkrupp Steel, you will play a crucial role in the mechanical maintenance of our coking plant, contributing to the green transformation of steel production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance across all operational areas
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Identify, resolve, and document causes of malfunctions
- Retrieve drawings and technical documentation as needed
- Support planning and implementation of improvement projects
- Occasionally participate in work requiring heavy respiratory protection.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic
- Ability to understand technical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic plans
- Basic knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
- Flexibility and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work early shifts initially
- Preferred experience in a production or industrial environment
