Job Description
A joinery and interior fit-out employer in Hidd, Bahrain is hiring a skilled Draftsman – Joinery & Fit-outs. This joinery draftsman role in Bahrain focuses on accurate shop drawings for custom joinery and fit-out work, produced in person alongside design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings
- Draft accurate 2D plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings in AutoCAD
- Produce fabrication drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, ceilings, and partitions
- Review architectural and interior drawings for detailing and coordination
- Take site measurements and verify dimensions before finalizing shop drawings
- Prepare material take-offs, cutting lists, and basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams
- Revise drawings per client comments, consultant approvals, and site requirements
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a draftsman in joinery and interior fit-out (GCC experience preferred)
- AutoCAD proficiency mandatory
- Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, fit-out materials, and production methods
- Ability to read architectural, interior design, and construction drawings
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- AutoCAD certification or relevant drafting certification (preferred)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines independently and in a team
