Designer & Draftsman Job In Bahrain

A design studio in Manama, Bahrain is hiring a full-time Designer & Draftsman who can take projects from creative concept through to finished construction drawings.

The role blends interior design with technical drafting: you will develop design concepts, mood boards and 3D visualizations, then produce detailed 2D AutoCAD documentation including floor plans, sections, elevations, joinery details, ceiling plans, MEP coordination layouts and fabrication drawings. You will revise drawings based on site feedback and client comments, coordinate with site engineers, contractors, suppliers and fabricators, and make sure every output meets the studio's design standards and Bahrain's authority regulations. The position also involves visiting sites for measurements and verification, attending project and site-coordination meetings, and helping prepare bills of quantities, material selections and finish schedules while liaising with project managers, quantity surveyors and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in interior design and drafting, preferably in Bahrain or the GCC
• Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max and Photoshop (or similar tools)
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and lighting
• Familiarity with Bahrain building codes and authority approvals is an advantage
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills
• A valid Bahrain driving license is preferred; candidates with transferable or own visas are preferred
