Job Description

An exciting opening is available for a Control Room Operator with Confidential Employer at a Saudi Arabia utility-scale thermal / CCPP plant. There are 7 openings for operators with hands-on thermal plant experience, together with free food, housing provided by the company and transport provided by the company. Only Sri Lankan nationals are eligible to apply. In this central control room role, you will help keep gas and steam plant running safely and steadily around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

Run and watch gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers/HRSG and generators from the central control room via DCS.
Carry out start-up, synchronisation, ramping and controlled shutdown from the DCS console.
Keep drum level, steam pressure and temperature, vibration and emissions inside safe limits.
Guide field operators and act early to prevent trips.
Respond at once to alarms and hold all key parameters within safe bands.

Requirements

3-year DAE or a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
3-10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in conventional thermal power plants (CCPP, CCGT or co-generation).
Strong knowledge of HSE protocols, OEM standards and automated control systems (DCS / SCADA / SAP CMMS).
Age 25-45 years.
Only Sri Lankan nationals are eligible to apply.
