Cluster IT Engineer

A confidential employer is seeking a Cluster IT Engineer for a utility-scale thermal / CCPP plant in Saudi Arabia. This is 1 opening for an experienced IT professional with 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure and network support, ideally gained in a power or industrial setting. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee networks, servers, hardware and software across the plant cluster.
• Watch system performance, backups and cybersecurity on an ongoing basis.
• Fix IT problems promptly and help plan and carry out system upgrades.
• Keep IT records up to date and make sure security rules are followed.

Requirements

• A B.Sc. or B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration or systems support, preferably in power plants or industrial sites.
• Strong command of network administration, server management, cybersecurity and IT systems.
• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA and SAP systems is an advantage.
• Age 25-45 years.
