Responsibilities

Aiding customers with their purchases and saying hello to them as they approach the counter.
Processing transactions accurately and efficiently while scanning or manually entering items into the point of sale (POS) system.
Accepting a range of payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, and providing required change.
Ensuring that the quantity of money in the register corresponds with the sales transactions by balancing the cash drawer at the start and conclusion of each shift.
Helping to manage inventory by counting items and making sure stock levels are accurate.
