Job Description

To join our team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant with 1-2 years of experience. The warehouse assistant will be essential to maintaining our warehouse’s effectiveness and organisation.

Responsibilities

Your duties as a warehouse assistant in Sharjah with 1-2 years of experience will be:

Receiving, examining, and storing incoming supplies.
Keeping accurate records of transactions and inventory levels.
Preparing orders for shipment and making sure deliveries are made on time.
Arranging and organising goods in the warehouse to facilitate access.
Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery as necessary.
Helping to keep the warehouse environment safe and clean.
Working together with coworkers to fulfil orders and satisfy client needs.

Requirements

The following requirements must be met in order for candidates to be considered for the position of warehouse assistant:

1-2 years’ worth of documented experience working as a warehouse assistant.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
Ability to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling inventory.
Excellent time- and project-management abilities.
Physical endurance to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills.
