A company in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join their team. If you have 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping and are looking for a new opportunity, this position offers an exciting role in managing and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

Among your duties as a storekeeper will be:

Obtaining, checking, and keeping goods in the storage facility.
Keeping precise inventory level records.
Overseeing the warehouse’s cleanliness and organisation.
Ensuring that products are handled and stored properly.
Examining the inventory to look for any flaws or damages.
Keeping up with and creating inventory reports.
Arranging for restocking in coordination with the procurement division.
Correctly handling and labelling materials.
Overseeing stock rotation and inventory control.
Upholding the warehouse’s safety and security protocols.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for the Storekeeper role, applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

One to two years of experience in a related field, such as storekeeping.
Awareness of appropriate inventory control procedures.
Precision and attention to detail when maintaining records.
Strong time-management and organising abilities.
The capacity to use forklifts and other equipment in warehouses.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Proficiency with software for inventory management.
Physical stamina to lift and manoeuvre large objects.
