Responsibilities

Among your duties as a housekeeper will be:

Carrying out cleaning responsibilities in the facility’s common areas, restrooms, and guest rooms, among other areas.
Cleaning tasks include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washing surfaces.
Making the beds and changing the sheets.
Restocking and stocking items like cleaning supplies and toiletries.
Ensuring the prompt and effective completion of all cleaning duties.
Notifying the proper staff of any maintenance or repair issues.
Following all health and safety regulations when performing tasks.
Keeping a polite and professional manner when speaking with visitors.
Answering visitors’ requests and offering support when required.
Taking part as needed in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the Housekeeper role, applicants must fulfil the subsequent qualifications:

A diploma from secondary education (high school).
A minimum of one year but no more than two years of experience in housekeeping.
Strong attention to detail and a dedication to keeping things tidy and orderly.
Familiarity with cleaning supplies, methods, and tools.
Outstanding ability to manage time and work effectively.
Capacity to function both individually and collaboratively.
Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
The ability to work a flexible schedule and adjust to schedule changes.
Physical endurance and the capacity to carry out standing, bending, lifting, and carrying chores while cleaning.
