DTI Transport Ltd. in Surrey, BC, Canada, is currently offering a rewarding opportunity for the position of Truck Mechanic.
Responsibilities:
As a Truck Mechanic with DTI Transport Ltd., your key responsibilities will include:
- Replacing, mending, or adjusting commercial transport truck systems’ parts and components.
- Finding flaws and malfunctions in mechanical units through inspection and testing.
- Modifying, fixing, or swapping out automotive system parts and components.
- Truck-trailer system parts and components that need to be adjusted, fixed, or replaced.
- Identifying problems and malfunctions and consulting the supervisor on the results to decide whether to replace or repair the unit.
- Fixing or swapping out mechanical parts or units.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Certificate of secondary (high) school graduation.
- Two to three years’ worth of truck mechanic experience.
- Ability to identify and fix a wide range of truck systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a valid work permit.
