Job Description

For the purpose of facilitating adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, we are seeking a responsible Safety Officer. You will offer suggestions on how to reduce risks or hazardous conditions. Additionally, you’ll be vigilant for violations at all times.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and instruction on numerous safety-related issues, such as machinery use and noise levels.
Conduct risk analysis, then put preventative measures in place.
Examine current procedures and laws, then make any necessary updates.
establish and coordinate OHS training for staff members and executives
Check the surroundings and employees’ work for problems or non-conformities (such as not wearing safety gear).
In charge of overseeing installations, upkeep, material disposal, etc.
Put an end to any risky or harmful behaviours or practises.
Keep track of occurrences, look into their causes, and deal with worker’s compensation claims.
