Job Description

For our team, we are looking for a highly qualified civil engineer. Candidates with extensive experience in steel structure works are preferred, since the position calls for 10–12 years of experience in structural and architectural site work. Expertise in engineering software (such as Autocad SAP) is required, and this position heavily relies on the candidate’s capacity to examine drawings and create shop drawings.

Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include

Overseeing and managing structural and architectural site work projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within the intended scope, and within the allotted budget.
Specialist advice on steel structure projects, project efficiency optimisation, and structural integrity assurance.
Design, analysis, and documentation of projects using engineering software (Autocad SAP).
To ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality, extensive evaluations of drawings, including IFC drawings, are conducted.
Creating meticulous shop drawings that act as essential roadmaps for the successful completion of projects.
In order to provide flawless project coordination, working closely with project teams that include architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Proactively identifying and addressing project risks, and putting mitigation measures in place to guarantee a successful project execution.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should have

10–12 years’ worth of hands-on experience working on structural and architectural sites.
Strong steel structure work experience that can be seen in a history of completed projects.
Ability to design and analyse using engineering software, like Autocad SAP.
A track record of inspecting drawings for accuracy and conformance to project specifications.
Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work productively with multidisciplinary project teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude when identifying and reducing project risks.
Possessing the ability to mentor and direct young engineers.
