Responsibilities & Duties
These are the duties to fulfil by the Logistics Clerk in Germany
- Managing and overseeing the picking orders; conducting availability checks; informing sales of empty quantities and blockings
- Supervising the handling of shipments, involving sales and shipping firms, as well as through online customer or shipping company portals, while considering the relevant specific Incoterms
- Close coordination with sales, the warehouse, and outside logistics service providers
- Production of freight documents in compliance with applicable regulations (CMR, IMO, export declarations, customs, and dangerous goods documents)
- Documentation and archiving of shipping orders
Requirements
These are the requirements
- Demonstrable expertise in logistics or a similar field.
- Familiarity with inventory and shipping procedures.
- Strong communication and organising abilities.
- The capacity to use software for logistics.
