We are now looking for a qualified Safety Officer to join our team on the job site. This position is essential to maintaining the health and safety of all workers on the job site. We are searching for someone with at least two years of experience working as a safety officer.

Responsibilities

Your duties as a Safety Officer at a construction site with two years of experience will include

Regular risk evaluations and safety checks.
Enforcing safety laws, rules, and guidelines.
Recognising potential risks and taking preventative action.
Giving new hires and workers orientation and safety training.
Investigating, recording, and reporting events, near-misses, and accidents.
Addressing safety issues in partnership with site management.
Ensuring adherence to regional safety rules and regulations.
Creating and maintaining safety paperwork and records.
Holding briefings and meetings on safety.

Requirements

Candidate requirements for consideration for the Safety Officer position include the following:

2 years at the very least of experience as a safety officer, preferably on a job site.
A degree or certificate in safety that is pertinent.
Comprehensive understanding of safety rules and best practises.
Strong training and communication skills.
The capacity to recognise and reduce safety concerns.
Meticulousness and a proactive attitude towards safety.
Working on a building site is possible.
