We are currently looking for a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in the travel and tourism industry in Dubai. This is an entry-level, part-time position suitable for individuals with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Your primary duties as a Cashier in the travel and tourist sector will be:

Greeting and helping customers with their transactions in a polite and knowledgeable way.
Processing payments accurately, including those made with cash, credit cards, and electronic means.
Giving receipts to clients and confirming that adjustment is correct.
Keeping track of cash handling procedures and managing cash registers.
Answering consumer questions and problems with payments.
Preparing daily reports and balancing cash registers at the end of each shift.
Coordinating with the rest of the team to maintain smooth operations.
Maintaining order and cleanliness in the cashier area.
Obeying the rules and regulations of the company.
Helping out with additional jobs as needed.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements to be considered for the post of cashier in the travel and tourist sector.

1–2 years of cashier experience, preferably in retail or hospitality.
Strong numerical and money management abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Precision and focus on detail when handling transactions.
A capacity for effective work in a hurried setting.
