As a Housekeeper, join our team at Studentenwohnheimverein e.V. in Germany. We are looking for a committed and meticulous person to assist with keeping our student living amenities tidy and organised. This function is essential to giving our residents a cosy and enjoyable living space.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will include

Cleaning and maintaining the student housing complex’s common rooms, hallways, and shared facilities.
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming are all necessary to maintain a clean and healthy atmosphere.
Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms should be cleaned and sanitised.
Trash cans should be emptied and rubbish should be disposed of in accordance with recycling and disposal regulations.
Notifying the appropriate people of any maintenance or repair requirements.
Helping with routine maintenance and deep cleaning projects.
Ensuring that the tools and supplies used for cleaning are in good condition.
Observing safety procedures and recommendations to avoid mishaps and harm.
Working together with the housing management staff to meet the needs and worries of residents.

Job Requirements

Proven work history as a housekeeper or in another cleaning position.
A keen eye for detail and a devotion to hygiene and sanitation.
Efficiency and independence in one’s work.
Strong communication abilities.
Ability to lift objects that are only fairly heavy while cleaning.
Understanding of cleaning goods and how to use them safely.
Flexibility in working a schedule that, when needed, could include weekends or evenings.
