Job Description
Join our team as a skilled electrical engineer with knowledge of Kahramaa substations operating at 66 and 11 kV. A knowledgeable individual has an exciting opportunity to share their understanding of electrical equipment, drawing preparation, and substation design in this job.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
66/11kV Kahramaa substation design and engineering while assuring adherence to rules and regulations.
Preparing as-built and red marked-up comprehensive electrical drawings for all electrical equipment and substation components.
Collaborating on the creation of substation designs, layouts, and specifications with the project team.
Performing site visits and inspections to evaluate the state of electrical equipment and offer suggestions for maintenance or improvement.
Identifying electrical problems and arranging for repairs or replacements as necessary.
Calculating electrical loads and analysing power distribution.
Keeping abreast of developments in electrical and substation equipment.
Ensuring that all substation designs and drawings follow the highest requirements for safety and quality.
Job Requirements
You must fulfil the following requirements in order to be successful in this position:
Electrical engineering or a similar field as a bachelor’s degree.
Substantial functional knowledge of electrical equipment connected to 66/11kV Kahramaa substations.
Ability to create as-built and red markup drawings for electrical equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and substation design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
A capacity for both independence and teamwork.
Knowledge of the rules, norms, and codes that apply to your sector.
