Hiring Female Assistant Accountant In Qatar

Job Description

An experienced trading company in Qatar’s oil and gas industry is looking to add a competent female assistant accountant to their team. This might be a great opportunity for you if you’re a female Filipino candidate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least three years of experience in the trading sector, fluency in English, and familiarity with day-to-day accounting.

Responsibilities

Your duties as an assistant accountant will consist of:

Helping with regular financial operations and accounting duties.
Overseeing the functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Completing the monthly financial statements and reports.
Carrying out reconciliations and guaranteeing the accuracy of financial documentation.
Helping to prepare reports and documents related to finances.
Working together to guarantee financial compliance with the finance team.
Managing the entry of financial data and keeping records in order.
Managing financial data with accounting software, such as Focus.
Helping as needed with different accounting and financial tasks.
Helping to keep financial integrity and accuracy intact.

Requirements

Candidates must fulfil the following requirements in order to be considered for the female assistant accountant position:

An accounting bachelor’s degree or a similar degree.
Proficiency with software on computers, particularly accounting programmes.
Outstanding written and spoken English language proficiency.
Three years at least of experience in a trading company, ideally in Qatar’s oil and gas industry.
Strong familiarity with routine accounting procedures.
Knowledge of the functions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Expertise completing monthly financial reports and accounts.
It would be beneficial to know how to use Focus software.
Accuracy and meticulousness when performing financial tasks.
A responsible and proactive approach to handling financial data.
A current work permit and, if necessary, a Qatari residence visa (NOC).
