Responsibilities
Your duties as an Auto Body Technician at TAPPCONNECT INC. will consist of the following:
- Examining, fixing, and returning damaged car bodies to their pre-damage state.
- Determining the degree of damage and creating cost projections.
- Removing panels and fenders, among other damaged body parts.
- Fixing or swapping out damaged parts, like bumpers, hoods, and doors.
- Aligning and straightening the chassis and frames of vehicles.
- Ensuring a smooth finish on vehicle surfaces by grinding, welding, and sanding.
- Painting and finishing coats to bring back the vehicle’s aesthetic.
Requirements
In order to be given consideration for the TAPPCONNECT INC. Auto Body Technician position, you must fulfil the following prerequisites:
- Ownership of a secondary (high school) diploma or a comparable qualification.
- At least two to less than three years of relevant work experience, along with a track record of success in auto body repair and restoration.
- Strong familiarity with industry best practises and auto body repair techniques.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment for auto body repair.
- Remarkable accuracy and attention to detail in repair work.
- Good problem-solving abilities to deal with different types of vehicle damage.
