Responsibilities
As an Event Coordinator, your key responsibilities may include
- Creating strategies for event marketing and communication.
- Developing media plans and doing public relations campaigns.
- Hiring, managing, and supervising volunteers and/or employees.
- Helping to choose the location and taking care of pertinent details.
- Arranging for special event set-ups, staging, seating, parking, and communication systems.
- Putting in place social programmes, transportation, food and beverage services, and other services connected to events.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in event coordination.
- Valid work permit
