Responsibilities
Your duties as an Early Childhood Educator at Khalsa Daycare will consist of the following:
- Conceiving and carrying out programmes and activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children.
- Fostering the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children by offering a secure and caring environment.
- Evaluating and observing kids to determine their unique needs and interests.
- Working together with staff members and other educators to establish a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Establishing good lines of communication, giving parents and other carers progress reports, and responding to any worries.
Early childhood Educator Job Requirements
The following credentials are required in order to be considered for the role of Early Childhood Educator:
- A one- to two-year college or CEGEP diploma or certificate in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
- Two years or less of experience working with young children, but at least one year is required.
- Understanding of age-appropriate teaching methods and child development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A dedication to building a stimulating and upbeat learning environment.
