Job Description

At Brothers Trading Corporation, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Cook to join our team. You will be a key player in our kitchen as a Cook, helping to create delectable dishes and upholding high standards for food preparation.

Responsibilities

As a Cook with 1-2 years of experience, your responsibilities will include

Cooking and preparing a variety of foods while adhering to established recipes.
Ensuring the appearance, taste, and quality of all food products.
Coordinating kitchen staff orders for food in order to maintain service standards.
Preserving a spotless and arranged work space in the kitchen.
Keeping track of the supply of food and placing orders as necessary.
Following sanitation and food safety regulations.
Collaborating with the kitchen staff to establish a positive workplace atmosphere.
Helping to create new recipes and assist with menu planning.

Requirements

The following requirements must be met in order for candidates to be considered for the Cook position:

At least one to two years of experience working as a cook.
Although equivalent experience will be taken into consideration, a certificate or diploma in other trades in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
Understanding of food safety regulations and preparation methods.
Strong passion for cooking and strong culinary abilities.
A focus on quality and attention to detail.
Ability to function well in a busy kitchen.
Team player with superior communication and planning abilities.
