Cashier Vacancy in Canada (Berwick, NS) by Home Hardware, we are looking for candidate having at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities:
Duties include handling payments, issuing receipts, processing returns & balancing the cash register:
- Operate cash register efficiently
- Process payments (cash, cards, cheques)
- Scan and bag purchased items
- Provide customer service and suggestive selling
- Maintain cleanliness of checkout area
- Monitor store entrances and verify proof of payment
- Participate in store promotions and events
Requirements:
Below are the job requirement for job:
- Secondary school certificate or equivalent
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and basic math proficiency
- Valid work permit
