Work & Experience
Responsibilities.<br /> • Implementation of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental (HSSE) Management system.<br /> • Conduct HSSE inspections, writing reports and making follow up of implementation of recommendations and actions from inspections.<br /> • Conducting all HSSE monitoring processes and systems to ensure that risks and impacts are assessed and managed in appropriate time frame & as well as conducting risk assessments for different projects.<br /> • Ensure each contractor provides a safely work operations as per work permit requirements (work at height, hot works, x – ray etc.)<br /> • Participate in prepare training programs following the Environmental, Health and Safety Risk and Impact Assessments and assist supervisors with their implementation.<br /> • Conduct inductions for newly employees, contractors and visitors arriving TIPER and carry out awareness programs to ensure adherence to HSSE standards and other applicable requirements.<br /> • Monitor and enable preventive maintenance & inspection on the various types of portable gas detection appliances, fire, safety and lifesaving equipment which includes complete checks, servicing, repairing and supervising contracted assistants while undertaking maintenance work.<br /> • Control periodical inspection on fixed fire extinguishing systems (Portable – CO2, dry powder, H2O , Foam) (Fixed – Monitor and water cooling) (Semi fixed – Foam injection and Hydrant) (Mobile – Fire truck), inspect, test and maintain fire hoses.<br /> • Monitor Depot/Terminal activities to ensure that workers comply with the company policies.<br /> • Ensure HSSE Legal and other requirement compliance for TIPER.<br /> • Direct supervision to ongoing projects at site that involves construction, mechanical works at the depot.<br /> • Participate in firefighting and emergency activities with the proper use of fire, safety and lifesaving equipment / systems. </p> <p>
Responsibilities. </p> <p>• Assisted with tank gauging and terminal maintenance activities.<br /> • Assisted in preparing and analyzing inventory of product receipts (Gasoil and Jet fuel) from oil vessels and supply of products from TIPER to other terminals.<br /> • Monitoring and control of daily, weekly and monthly stocks.<br /> • Provided support services to the operations and stock department.<br />
• Industrial practical Training at all TANZANIA COASTAL BASINS including Tanga Basin, Mandawa basin, Ruvu Basin.
