Job Description

Cashier Vacancy in Canada (Berwick, NS) by Home Hardware, we are looking for candidate having at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities:

Duties include handling payments, issuing receipts, processing returns & balancing the cash register:

  • Operate cash register efficiently
  • Process payments (cash, cards, cheques)
  • Scan and bag purchased items
  • Provide customer service and suggestive selling
  • Maintain cleanliness of checkout area
  • Monitor store entrances and verify proof of payment
  • Participate in store promotions and events

Requirements:

Below are the job requirement for job:

  • Secondary school certificate or equivalent
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and basic math proficiency
  • Valid work permit
