MEP Executive Site Engineer 500 kV KKI (KE - KANNUP Interchange) GIS Grid Station | December 2023 – Present Engineering Responsibilities • Continually review the contractor's construction schedule during the progress of site work with regards to MEP services and report to the project Director on the same. • Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team. • Review Contractor's installation method statements. Involvement in Engineering Supervision • Review contractor's mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise the Project Director accordingly. • Monitor and promote health and safety on the site. Record and report any breaches to the Project Manager. If required stop the construction works if unsafe practices are being followed • Review and approve Contractor's as built drawings. • Deal with Contractor's RFIs relating to the MEP works. • Set up meetings to resolve specific site problems as required minimizing program delays. • Prepare the MEP section of the Project Managers monthly progress report. • Preliminary meetings with HOD for Planning and development of design and conceptual frame • Developing project coordination plans with internal & other concerned departments and client • Conducting the meeting with different Vendors and Suppliers as per requirement. • Factory Inspection of Electrical Equipment as and when required witnessing prototype testing.
Technical associates | November 2021 – September 2023 • 220 KVA/132 KVA/11 KVA Dhabeji Grid Station under Siemens Pakistan's MEP lead Responsible for MEP-related tasks as a Technical Associate in the project execution department. • Completed a 1-year trainee program as part of my degree, which has been extended to the Sept 2023 • Proficient in handling small power lighting, HVAC, and firefighting systems. • Oversaw the fitting of conduit and PVC pipes for SPL. • Installed and managed wiring, both internal and external lighting. • installed and maintained DBs and supervised the HVAC system. • Expertise in installing Fresh Air and PAC units. • Skilled in installing grills and copper piping for small AC units. • Proficient in ducting and FM 200 piping installation • Experienced in installing smoke, heat and beam detectors.
