Responsibilities

As an Upholsterer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Upholstery furniture in accordance with requirements.
• Restoring or changing tattered upholstery.
• Examining and getting furniture frames ready for upholstery.
• Choosing suitable materials and textiles for upholstery.
• Material measurement and cutting to fit furniture components.
• Guaranteeing the final upholstery’s quality and appearance.
• Working together as a team to achieve production objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
• A diploma from a secondary school or its equivalent.
• Competence with materials and techniques for upholstery.
• Precision and attention to detail when doing upholstery work.
