Responsibilities

Your duties as a JKN Transport Ltd. long-haul truck driver will consist of:

• Long-haul truck operations and driving involve moving cargo and materials across large distances.
• Arranging travel plans and scheduling the necessary breaks, fuel, and maintenance.
• Loading and unloading cargo while making sure it stays safe for transportation.
• Keeping an eye on a car’s performance and making sure it gets regular maintenance.
• Maintaining precise records of the number of hours worked, the distance travelled, and the cargo details.
• Observing safety guidelines and traffic laws.
• Corresponding as necessary with customers, other drivers, and dispatchers.

Requirements

The following credentials are necessary for you to be considered for the Long Haul Truck Driver position:

• A diploma from secondary education (high school).
• Although prior experience is not required, JKN Transport Ltd is prepared to train qualified applicants.
• A valid driver’s licence, Class 1 or higher.
• Excellent driving history and familiarity with safe driving techniques.
• Strong ability to communicate.
• Physical well-being and endurance for extended driving periods.
