A contracting company in Doha, Qatar is hiring a Civil Engineer – Quantity Surveying & Estimation to handle BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and pricing. This full-time, on-site civil engineer quantity surveying job in Qatar centers on natural stone, marble and granite, cladding, flooring, and finishing works. Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, civil, interior, and shop drawings to understand the full project scope
- Produce accurate quantity take-offs from PDF and CAD drawings
- Prepare Bills of Quantities for stone, cladding, flooring, and finishing works
- Calculate project costs and build detailed cost breakdowns
- Prepare competitive quotations for clients across Qatar
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 3 years of quantity surveying or estimation experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Solid technical knowledge of natural stone, marble, granite, cladding, and finishes
- Driving licence required
